Omruc ruled when the desert was young and gods still walked openly among men. He built monuments that touched the sky, commanded armies that stretched beyond horizons, and declared himself eternal. The gods answered his arrogance with a curse: eternity, but not as he imagined. Omruc would rule forever—as a corpse, aware but rotting, powerful but imprisoned within his own decaying flesh. His golden tomb became his cage. Centuries passed. His priests died. His empire crumbled to sand. But Omruc remained, consciousness trapped inside withered sinew and brittle bone, feeling every moment of his decomposition. Rage replaced pride. Madness replaced wisdom. Now he rises from his sarcophagus when tomb robbers disturb his rest, animated by pure hatred for the living who still possess what was stolen from him—the mercy of true death. He strikes with the fury of a king who learned too late that some prayers should never be answered. Omruc's curse is complete: he is eternal, and he suffers eternally. Omruc has 4300 hitpoints. He is resistant against fire, poison, and energy and cannot be paralyzed. He can neither be summoned nor convinced. In addition, it is able to sense invisible creatures. Omruc yields 2950 experience points. He carries gold, fruit, gems, and sometimes other items with him. |
